The brake compressor, also known as the brake pump, is one of the most important components of the automotive brake system. It is this part that controls the braking of the car when driving. Its role is to allow the car to be slowed down or stopped quickly and safely during the driving process, which plays a decisive role in the safety performance of the vehicle.
Brake pump is mainly divided into two categories, according to the different working principle of brake pump, it can be divided into two types of pneumatic brake pump and hydraulic brake pump. The pneumatic brake pump generates compressed air through the air compressor, and then transmits the air to the brake pedal through the pipeline, and promotes the brake pad and the brake disc friction to produce braking force. The hydraulic brake pump is through the brake pedal under the action, the brake fluid pressure rises, and then through the tubing to the brake pad, so that it and the brake disc friction to produce braking force.
